NPD: production figures for November 2014

Oilfield Technology,

Preliminary production figures for November 2014 indicate an average daily production of around 1 939 000 bbls of oil, NGL and condensate.

This is 18 000 bpd (around 1%) less than in October 2014. Total gas sales were about 10.2 billion Sm3, which is 0.3 GSm3 less than the previous month.

The average daily liquid production in November was: 1 467 000 bbls of oil, 351 000 bbls of NGL and 121 000 bbls of condensate. The oil production is 5% below the NPD’s prognosis for November and 5% below the oil production in November last year.

The Fram H-Nord, Gullfaks Sør, Oseberg Sør, Skarv, Skuld, Ula and Visund fields had reduced production in November due to technical problems.

So far this year the oil production is about 1% above the NPD’s prognosis and about 2% higher than for the same period in 2013.

The total petroleum production for the first eleven months in 2014 is about 197.9 million standard m3 oil equivalent, broken down as follows: about 78.7 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 21.3 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 98.0 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale.

Final production figures from October 2014 show an average daily production of about 1.528 million bbls of oil, 0.430 million bbls of NGL and condensate and a total of 10.5 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
