Saudi Aramco selects Aqualis Offshore for rig moving services
Aqualis Offshore, part of Aqualis ASA, has signed a rig moving services contract with Saudi Aramco, one of world’s largest energy company. The contract value is undisclosed.
Services in the Arabian Gulf
Under the deal, offshore marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore will provide offshore rig moving services over the next three years for Saudi Aramco’s jack-up rigs operating in the Arabian Gulf.
“We may be a young company, but our team consist solely of highly experienced personnel with 10-30 years’ offshore experience. This experience has secured this prestigious and strategically important contract,” says David Wells, CEO of Oslo-listed Aqualis ASA.
Aqualis Offshore will support Saudi Aramco with rig moving services and personnel from Aqualis Offshore’s offices in the Middle East region.

Aqualis Offshore is a specialised marine and offshore engineering consultancy focusing on the shallow and deepwater segments of the offshore oil, gas and wind industries.
Aqualis Offshore’s contract party is Aqualis Offshore Marine Services LLC.
