Unique Maritime Group wins offshore award

Unique Maritime Group (UMG) – integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solutions provider – has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Himanshu (Harry) Gandhi has been recognised at the International Golden Helm Awards 2014 held at Emirates International Maritime Academy (EIMA), Dubai.

The award ceremony was organised by the IMC (International Maritime Club). Harry Gandhi won an IMC Golden Helm Award for Excellence in Offshore services.

The award ceremony honoured the prominent names in the maritime, oil and gas, and offshore industries who have been leading the way to improve the maritime sector in the Middle East. The awards were purely based on individual merits and their personal contribution for furthering the developments in the maritime industry.

Commenting on the award, Harry Gandhi said: "I am overwhelmed to receive this award which chiefly recognises the achievements of leaders in the maritime, offshore and oil and gas industry. Even though the award honours an individual for his unprecedented efforts in drastically shaping up the industry, I dedicate this award to the entire family at UMG without whose hard work and dedication, it wouldn’t have been possible for UMG to scale heights and reach a position where it stands today. I whole-heartedly thank the jury at IMC for awarding me for the same."
