Endeavour’s Rochelle field is back online

Endeavour International Corporation has announced that the Rochelle field is back online. Production from the field restarted on 12 October 2014 and is currently producing at 90 million ft³/d of gas with approximately 4600 bpd of associated liquids.

Rochelle is a Lower Cretaceous Britania sandstone reservoir at ~10 000 ft and lies in a water depth of ~450 ft. The first of two planned development wells, in the Western field, started producing in October of 2013 and the second well came online in November 2013. The Field Development Plan, which was approved by the UK government in late 2011, consists of two subsea production wells drilled from separate subsea manifolds and a pipeline tied-back to the Scott Platform.  The gas and associated liquids are being exported to shore via the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) system and oil will be transported through the Forties Pipeline System (FPS) to the Cruden Bay terminal. Partners in the field include Nexen (41%) and Premier Oil (15%).

Endeavour has a 44% working interest in the Rochelle field.
