J2 Subsea to represent WeSubsea products
J2 Susbea, an Acteon company, has agreed to represent WeSubsea products in the UK and overseas.
Subsea equipment
WeSubsea manufactures a range of engineered remotely operated vehicle (ROV) dredge pumps (dredgers), which are designed to move sediment on the seabed for a range of subsea applications. J2 Subsea will also represent other subsea equipment from WeSubsea.
WeSubsea uses optimised technology to construct titanium dredgers that require substantially lower pressures and volumes of hydraulic fluids than other ROV dredgers on the market. The small, lightweight titanium dredgers produce powerful suction and are easily operated by either divers or the ROV’s hydraulics. Each dredger is manufactured with minimal parts to increase operational dependability.
Comments
John Walker, J2 Subsea Director, commented: “This agreement will add another range of products to our growing ROV Tooling division, and, with the exceptions of Norway and Canada, the products will be available from J2 Subsea locations globally.
“WeSubsea’s smaller, lighter, easier-to-handle dredgers require less fluid than existing products on the market, and can easily be configured to suit the needs of any project. Our customers will save valuable time in their subsea operations with local access to this high-quality technology.”
Rune Svendsen, CEO of WeSubsea, added: "The agreement with J2 Subsea strengthens our ability to provide global customers with proven technology and market leading solutions. This co-operation will ensure the quality of WeSubsea’s products and services, and give us an even greater proximity to customers and the subsea market worldwide.”
