The Texas Alliance of Energy Producers has launched a new technical webinar series, providing members a new, technologically advanced method of staying engaged and informed.

"We are pleased to offer these webinars, which are specifically designed to help independent oil and gas operators understand and comply with the ever-changing regulatory climate of our industry," said Alliance President Alex Mills.

"The webinars will be hosted by John Tintera, our Executive Vice President and former Executive Director of the Railroad Commission, as well as regulatory expert and Alliance Railroad Commission Committee Chair Brian Miller of Miller Consulting, Inc., with logistical coordination and technical assistance by Alliance Public Affairs Consultant Katie Carmichael.

“Members who would like to have specific regulatory concerns addressed in these webinars are encouraged to contact us. We know the webinars will be a value-add for Alliance members at a critical time in the industry, and we want to be as responsive as possible to our membership."

The first webinar in the new series focused on recent changes to the Railroad Commission Groundwater Advisory Unit's (GAU) certification process. The hosts explained the new fees associated with the existing GAU Water Board Letters, with an emphasis on form requirements and compliance. They also discussed potential cost-saving measures, providing exclusive insight on how to save time and money under the new fee structure.

The webinar series is the latest addition to the already expansive range of services the Alliance offers its members. This new initiative is going a step further to provide members with a unique opportunity to connect with experts and receive valuable information in order to remain at the forefront of constantly evolving rules and regulations.

In addition, the service is offered free to Alliance members, and the option to view and actively participate in the webinar remotely will benefit companies where it matters most - their budget - by saving time and expenses associated with travel. The interactive programme allows attendees to view presentations, follow along with the presenters as they explain documents on the shared screen and ask questions throughout the session.

The Alliance will continue to schedule additional webinars throughout the next year, and expect to offer a new session approximately once a month. Archived webinars will also be available to members.
