Cryonorm wins order for LNG bunkering system

Oilfield Technology,

Cryonorm Systems has received the order to install LNG bunkering system for Risavika harbour, Norway, from Skangass. Norway has pioneered the use of LNG for short range coastal shipping, particularly in LNG fuelled ferries plying their trade between the islands off the coast.

The order consists of a turn key LNG bunkering system for ferries going from Norway to Denmark. Cryonorm Systems will engineer, produce, install and supervise the installation of the complete system.

Skangass and Cryonorm Systems reached an agreement to partner in this important project. “This is another milestone for both companies” says Jos Glorie, business development director at Cryonorm Systems.
