Battallion Resources acquires CBM assets in the PRB
Battalion Resources Holding LLC has acquired J.M. Huber Corp.’s oil and gas properties in the Powder River Basin (PRB). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The PRB is an area where the Battalion team has established expertise, with several team members having more than 75 collective years of coalbed methane (CBM) experience. The acquired properties are located throughout the basin and are complementary to Battalion's existing operations.
President and chief operating officer, Keith Knapstad comments: "This acquisition is a great fit with our current position in the PRB and will allow us to add scale and enhance operational efficiencies. We look forward to working with our business partners and the people of the community as we expand our footprint in the basin."
Battalion Resources Holding LLC is a privately held, exploration and production company headquartered in Denver with operations in the PRB and Canada.
