ALE has expanded its services in Australia to include the relocation of onshore oil and gas drilling rigs and associated equipment.

To support this sector, ALE has recruited specialist personnel and invested in bespoke equipment to form a dedicated unit supporting the onshore oil and gas sector. With a modern fleet of prime movers, road trains, rig trucks, and cranes, ALE’s Oil & Gas Services team will offer the complete solution for all drilling companies.

Shane Dwyer, General Manager – Heavy Haulage, who is heading up this unit said: “We have identified the requirement for a professional, innovative, reliable and compliant rig moving company to establish key strategic client relationships and create service provider partnerships within this sector.

“This team will offer this sector a complete turnkey package from collection at port and transport to the first drill site, through to the rig up, rig down, infield moves and on-road relocations. The team’s aim is to instill the same high level of service and professionalism as displayed within ALE’s heavy lifting work and deliver our clients the ultimate service in compliance, safety and efficiency.”

To help ensure every move is executed safely and in accordance to the rig move plan, ALE’s investment in a new, experienced team will undertake key roles including management, business development, health and safety, infield supervisors, rig truck operators and heavy vehicle operators.
