Alfa Laval, a global supplier of heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling equipment, has won an order to supply air coolers to a power plant in the US. The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 60 million. Delivery is scheduled for 2016.

The order comprises Alfa Laval air coolers, which will cool the gas turbines’ lubricating oil and dissipate excess heat from the turbines in the gas-fired power plant.

“This is yet another large order and this time from the power industry. It confirms our strong position as a supplier of reliable equipment to this sector," commented Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.

The order follows other recent announcements, including a SEK 65 million Spanish refinery contract and a SEK 100 million order from Maersk Oil.
