Preliminary production figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for October 2014 indicate an average daily production of about 1 949 000 bbls of oil, NGL and condensate.

This is 151 000 bpd (about 8%) more than in September 2014.

Total gas sales were about 10.5 billion m3, which is 2.6 billion m3 more than the previous month.

The average daily liquid production in October was: 1 519 000 bbls of oil, 331 000 bbls of NGL and 100 000 bbls of condensate. The oil production is 1% below the NPD’s prognosis for October and 8% above the oil production in October last year.

The Gaupe, Oseberg Sør, Skuld, Skarv, Tordis and Ula fields had reduced production in October due to technical problems.

So far this year the oil production is about 1.5% above the NPD’s prognosis and about 2.5% higher than for the same period in 2013.

The total petroleum production for the first ten months in 2014 is about 178.5 million m3 broken down as follows: about 71.7 million m3 of oil, about 19.1 million m3 of NGL and condensate and about 87.7 million m3 of gas for sale.

Final production figures from September 2014 show an average daily production of about 1.438 million bbls of oil, 0.360 million bbls of NGL and condensate and a total of 7.9 billion m3 saleable gas production.
