ONGC orders jack-up rigs from Aban Offshore
India-based drilling services provider, Aban Offshore has received jack-up rig orders from Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd (ONGC).
Contract details
The two orders are for deployment of jack-up rigs Aban IV and Aban III for a period of three years. The total value of these orders is approximately is Rs. 1114 crore. The contracts are expected to commence during Q1, 2015.
Following the announcement of the news, Aban Offshore’s stock rose 13.02% on the BSE.
