Fisher Offshore targets new markets
Fisher Offshore has extended its relationship with Ingersoll Rand, as the company targets new opportunities within the energy and manufacturing industries.
Fisher Offshore is already one of the UK’s largest providers of Ingersoll Rand winches and hoists and recently extended this distributorship to include tools as it looks to increase its integrated offering to both its current and prospective clients.
Product portfolio
The increase in product portfolio will see Fisher Offshore house the largest stock of Ingersoll Rand air powered tools in the UK, with a range of cordless tools, service tools, and industrial tools being made available for sale.
The move has also seen the company become an OEM certified service centre for the range of tools and is now also equipped to carry out HAVS (hand and arm vibration) testing.

Fisher Offshore
Graeme Brand, air products manager at Fisher Offshore, commented: “This extension of the current working relationship with Ingersoll Rand gives Fisher Offshore, and in particular its pneumatic department, a brand new product range to add to its current portfolio. It complements our offering to our existing customer base but it also has the potential to open up new opportunities in markets out with oil and gas.
“It is development like this that will allow Fisher Offshore to continue to provide a fully integrated service to current and prospective clients and it’s pleasing to be in a position to increase our offering. It’s an incredibly positive step for the company as a whole.”
Ingersoll Rand
Brian Norton, business sales manager at Ingersoll Rand, added: “Ingersoll Rand is delighted that Fisher Offshore is extending their Ingersoll Rand product offering into power tools.
“We believe that Fisher Offshore will become a leading and valued partner for our power tools division by offering a complete solution, from service to HAVS and stock availability. By having Fisher Offshore as an additional partner, we are confident that users of our products will have increased access and a better understanding of the Ingersoll Rand portfolio that’s available to them.”
