The agreement enables the Aberdeen-headquartered thru tubing and well intervention provider to significantly enhance its existing portfolio and offer IPI’s best in class products along with operational design, technical support and field personnel to run and deploy the technology at the well site.
IPI is an Australian-based company specialising in the design and manufacture of inflatable packers and service equipment for the oil and gas, mining, geotechnical and water resources industries.
Wellpro Group CEO Jim Thomson said: “The new comprehensive service commencing initially from the Middle East, then Asia, will allow us to offer a further product line to our business. It will also enable our customers to access a more complete well intervention package, including conventional inflates, thru tubing, fishing, milling and complementary services from a single source. This will save them time and money.”
