AFGlobal enters subsea agreement with Advanced Insulation
AFGlobal Corporation has entered into an agreement with Advanced Insulation Systems, who will become the exclusive applicator for AFGlobal’s Cuming insulation products. This agreement applies to all subsea insulation structures and jumpers.
Commenting on the partnership, Roland Kennedy, Global Product Line Director, Subsea Systems for AFGlobal, said: “This agreement leverages the product superiority of our Cuming insulation C-THERM line and the application expertise of Advanced Insulation Systems to help ensure the optimal insulation solution for our clients. C-THERM epoxy-based insulation products are the highest temperature and deepest depth rated systems currently available (up to 350°F at 10,000 ft). C-THERM materials are available in a full range of products and forms designed for ease of installation and adaptability to all surfaces and shapes. It can be used to insulate the entire subsea system, forming a complete deepwater thermal barrier.
