Sakhalin celebrates 700th LNG cargo
Sakhalin Energy announced that it offloaded the 700th LNG cargo from the Prigorodnoye production complex yesterday.
The first LNG cargo was produced and delivered by the company in 2009, when Sakhalin Energy launched the first Russian LNG plant.
The cargo was loaded onto the Fuji LNG carrier to be delivered to Japan.
More than 45 million t of LNG have been produced since Sakhalin Energy began production in 2009. The company plans to produce more than 10.5 million t of LNG in 2013.
