Drilling & production - 10 July 2018

Petro Matad, the AIM quoted Mongolian oil explorer, has advised that the Snow Leopard-1 well (Petro Matad 100%) in the Taats Basin of Block V was spud on the 9 July 2018.

Carnarvon Petroleum Limited has provided the following update on the drilling of the Dorado-1 well.

Triangle’s Managing Director, Mr Rob Towner, said that Triangle’s full field re-modelling and subsurface re-interpretation included remapping and geological modelling extended to cover four recognised near field exploration areas.

The US$15 million contract with Tullow Oil, part of Kenya’s EOPS, included the provision of degassing facilities for three well pads and an early production facility (EPF) for oil and water separation, stabilisation, storage and export.
