The following is a recap and summary of the record well in Grady County, OK. Wellbenders Directional Services completed the following operations; the Surface hole was drilled with a 17 ½ in. bit from the start depth of 134 ft to a total depth of 2506 ft. The Intermediate hole was drilled with a 12 ¼in. bit from the start depth of 2506 ft to a total depth of 15 029 ft. The Production hole was drilled with an 8 ½in. bit from the start depth of 15 029 ft to a total end of well depth of 28 131 ft.
The Total Vertical Depth of this well was 19 245 ft. The total measured depth was 28 131 ft with 10 244 ft of displacement.
- 17 ½ in. Surface: 134 - 2506 ft.
- 12 ¼ in. Intermediate: 2506 - 15 029 ft.
- 8 ½ in. Production: 15 029 - 28 131 ft.
- KOP 17 609 ft.
- Total horizontal displacement: 10 244 ft.
WellBenders was able to accomplish this due to extensive preparation, exceptional communication from engineering to detailed execution of goals on the rig site. Running real time Torque and Drag along with on the go adjustments to the design and drilling perimeters enabled the success of drilling this well.
