South Pars phase 20 Platform to be installed on Persian Gulf waters

The transportation procedure of the second platform of phases 20 & 21 of South Pars which has already been loaded from the Khoramshahr industrial yard by last week is started for being installed in the Persian Gulf.
As reported by the public relations of Pars Oil and Gas Company, the SPD20 platform weighting around 2600 t which has been constructed domestically and spending of 6.3 million working hours in Khoramshahr industrial yard, is the fifth platform which is being transported in order to be installed in the Gas field of South Pars this year.
It is estimated that SPD20 platform would be utilised until mid-January 2017 with the production capacity of 1 billion ft3 of gas per day.
The definite performance of construction and loading procedures of South Pars 20 & 21 phases platforms which has been build with reliance on domestic professional staffs and direct employment of 600 staffs including executive contractors and project supervisors confirms the actual realisation of the resistive economy in the South Pars developmental projects.
With the inauguration of the 20 & 21 phases of South Pars, the production of 500 million m3 of gas per day in order to be injected to the network, production and export of 77 000 bbls of condensates per day, 1 million t of liquid gas and 400 t of sulfur and also 1 million t of Ethan annually, in order to supply the petrochemical need, would become true.
