Alaska National Petroleum Reserve 2014 Lease Sale results

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Alaska has announced the results of the 2014 Lease Sale in the National Petroleum Reserve that took place on 19 November 2014 in Anchorage.

The lease sale covered approximately 3 million divided into 270 tracts. The tracts were separated into High Potential (approximately 5700 acres) and Low Potential (approximately 11 500 acres) tracts. The seven tracts covered an area of 66 600 acres and brought in US$658 978.20 in high bids.
