Aqualis ASA acquired Norwegian company Tristein AS in April 2014. Tristein has since operated as a stand-alone entity as part of the Aqualis Group. Now the company is being merged into the group’s main Norwegian operational unit, Aqualis Offshore AS.

Aqualis Offshore is a specialised marine and offshore engineering consultancy focusing on the shallow and deep-water offshore segments of the oil, gas and wind industry. Tristein is a leading provider of marine operations for the offshore oil, gas and wind industries.

“We merge into one operational entity, Aqualis Offshore, to streamline internal processes, reduce administrative work and give the company a more easily understandable operational profile. Our objective is to continue to grow and provide even better services to our clients,” says Bjørn Håvard Brænden, director of Norwegian operations at Aqualis Offshore.

In Norway, Aqualis Offshore will continue to operate from the company’s three offices in Asker, Kristiansund and Sandefjord.

“The combination of Aqualis Offshore and Tristein will allow us to deliver enhanced services to all our clients by sharing expertise and resources, particularly where engineering and offshore attendances are required,” says Bjørn Håvard Brænden.
