BP and its partners in the Shah Deniz consortium have announced the start-up of the landmark Shah Deniz 2 gas development in Azerbaijan, including its first commercial gas delivery to Turkey.
The framework covers four main scopes of work; marine riser and wellhead systems analysis, analysis for wellhead fatigue monitoring, completion landing string analysis, and open water work-over riser analysis.
The bid round, scheduled to close on September 28, offers four blocks in Brazil’s pre-salt area, but three of these were already offered in previous rounds and received no bids.
