Air Partner, the global aviation services group, has signed a ten-week contract with a multi-national oil company. Air Partner will charter flights to transport oil workers to and from the Netherlands twice a week for 10 weeks, departing from Aberdeen.
Air Partner has also recently announced that Baines Simmons, the world leading aviation safety consultancy it acquired in August 2015, is to offer Air Partner’s Oil & Gas clients bespoke safety and airworthiness audits and assessment services. This added-value arrangement – a first for the offshore charter jet industry – was met with enthusiasm by many companies at Offshore Europe, who were impressed with the Group’s focus on safety.
Mark Briffa, CEO at the Air Partner Group, commented: “We are very proud of the work we do in the Oil & Gas sector and this contract is another feather in our cap. Air Partner arranges charters to transport crew to and from oil rigs in the world’s most remote locations and we do this every day. Following our recent acquisition of Baines Simmons, we have been able to extend our client offering to include aviation safety consulting and we are delighted with the feedback we have received so far. We look forward to leveraging our combined expertise, resources and experience to offer Oil & Gas clients the most reliable efficient and comprehensive service possible.”
