Hyundai Heavy Industries wins Bergading Complex order

Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. has announced that it has received a Letter of Award from Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia B.V. for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, installation, hook-up and commissioning (EPCIC) contract for the Bergading Complex which comprises a central processing platform (CPP), a bridge and a wellhead platform. The Bergading Complex is part of the full field development project in North Malay Basin, which Hess operates under a production sharing contract with PETRONAS.
The complex will be located offshore Malaysia, in approximately 60 m water depth.
The CPP will be constructed at HHI’s offshore yard in Ulsan, South Korea, while the other facilities will be constructed by its appointed fabrication sub-contractor in Malaysia. The offshore installation of the Bergading facilities is scheduled to take place by the end of 2016.
