Digital twin software provider Aize has announced a new agreement to act as a global partner for asset visualisation for bp.
The four-year contract award follows an extensive evaluation of digital twin options and involves an expansion of the software across new regions and bp’s facilities globally.
Aize company officials say that their asset visualisation and digital twin software had already been integrated with bp’s broader digital infrastructure in the North Sea, Caspian Sea, and offshore West Africa.
Aize says that its software enables visualisation of engineering and operational data by providing contextualisation of information from many internal data sources, offering users a digital view of physical assets.
Under this new contract, Aize says that it has already deployed its asset visualisation and digital twin software to twenty additional bp facilities.
