AkzoNobel launches new Interplan Mobile Service

Oilfield Technology,

AkzoNobel™ has released a new mobile-enabled maintenance and repair service, Interplan™ Mobile.

The new service gives the customer the ability to choose the level of survey they require; from Interplan Mobile Advanced, Interplan Mobile Basic and Interplan Mobile Daily Report. All deliver details detailed results, online, straight to customers’ internet enabled devices.

AkzoNobel’s expert teams of coatings and corrosion inspectors are able to capitalize on the native iPad software in order to complete a site survey up to 40% quicker than a traditional, manual inspection. Once the survey is complete, the results can quickly be uploaded directly to a personalized extranet site.

Detailed site surveys combine both photographic and onsite survey data to provide a full corrosion and condition report, helping to identify the area in most need of attention, saving the customer both time and money by avoiding costly coating repairs later in the lifecycle of an asset. Interplan Mobile is able to deliver high quality, in depth corrosion and coating reports for basic quality control surveys during an asset’s construction, right through to specialist coating and fire protection surveys.
