The SGS Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Training and Examination Centre located in Shanghai, renowned for its internationally recognised comprehensive training and examination services, has released its personnel certification PCN and SNT- TC-1A training schedule for the second quarter of 2015. SGS training and examination services are provided in accordance with EN ISO 9712:2012.
SGS Training in China
Responding to increased demand for competent and qualified non-destructive testing inspectors, the SGS NDT Training and Examination Centre will once again provide training, examination and certification for non-destructive testing specialists. The comprehensive course syllabus includes training in both basic and advanced NDT methods certified by the British Institute of NDT, subject to passing an exam.
The SGS NDT Training and Examination Centre in Shanghai boasts Authorised Qualifying Body (AQB) and Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) status and undergoes vigorous BINDT audits. These accreditations allow SGS to conduct both PCN training and exams for Levels 1, 2 and 3 according to the PCN Certification Scheme fulfilling standards mandated by the EN ISO 9712 standard. SGS training and exam services for 2015 will cover both conventional and state-of-the-art NDT methods. Courses will be presented by experienced SGS specialists who possess the deep knowledge and expertise required to provide the level of high-quality training to which SGS is committed.
As training is a key component of the SGS strategy to improve quality and safety the world over, the SGS centre in Shanghai will provide a comprehensive curriculum of training in accordance with PCN and SNT requirements. Courses for 2015 will include instruction in radiographic, magnetic, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and eddy current testing as well as visual inspection, time of flight diffraction and phased array.
Courses scheduled throughout 2015 will be held at the SGS Non-Destructive Testing Training and Examination Centre in Shanghai with additional courses planned in Shenzhen and in other countries around the world. Upon request, specific courses can be planned at company locations anywhere in the world.
