AlMansoori wins Damen HSE award

AlMansoori has been recognised as the winner of the Damen award for corporate health and wellness.

Employers from the United Arab Emirates attended a ceremony in Al Maryah Island to celebrate the success of organizations committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and providing excellent work environments, at the inaugural Damen Corporate Health Awards.

AlMansoori Specialised Engineering Management is committed to staff welfare and demonstrate this by developing a HSEQ Integrated Management System which outlines the company’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Policy.

AlMansoori was recognised for its use of innovative initiatives designed to target the ongoing challenges of educating a multicultural workforce, describing the company as 'pioneers of health in the UAE'. AlMansoori provides a fully integrated Health Monitoring Management system which offers training and medical advice across a range of health related topics such as ergonomics, weight loss, stress management and quitting smoking while being regularly assessed by external medical examinations and by an in-house physician.

HSE warns oil and gas industry to improve offshore safety

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has released statistics showing an increase in major injuries and unplanned hydrocarbon releases and has warned the offshore industry to ‘up its game’ in identifying and rectifying the causes of such events.
