Oilfield Technology,

In order to better focus on new technology R&D, including identifying and commercialising complementary technologies and services, NCS Multistage has recently created a Corporate Technology Group.

The new group combines NCS’ Emerging Technology, Engineering and Corporate Technical Services teams with Anderson/Thompson Reservoir Strategies, NCS’ newly formed reservoir engineering and consulting business.

Focus on technology delivery

CEO Robert Nipper explains, “Our emphasis on technology delivery will ensure our clients the reservoir analysis, insights and technologies that will allow them to best achieve their resource recovery objectives.”

In support of this commitment, NCS Multistage has also made several executive appointments, including appointing Marty Stromquist, formerly Chief Operating Officer, as Chief Technology Officer leading the new group. The new Chief Operations Officer is Tim Willems; Joe DeGeare was named President of US Operations; with Don Getzlaf serving as Executive Advisor for the NCS Board and as a member of the NCS Multistage Executive Committee.

These appointments, in conjunction with the creation of the new Corporate Technology Group, better position NCS Multistage for continued growth. “I look forward to seeing our renewed focus on innovation and new technology development bring strength to NCS and meaningful value to our customers,” said Nipper.
