A&W Water Services celebrates 60 years

Oilfield Technology,

A&W Water Services (A&W), a subsidiary of Superior Energy Services, celebrated 60 years of water hauling and sourcing services to oil and gas producers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Founded in 1954 by 27-year-old Charlie Wright, A&W has grown from a small business with one drilling rig and three trucks, to a company with a fleet of more than 200 trucks, 3000 frac tanks and a team of 600 employees. A&W’s leadership attributes their success and growth to the dedication and hard work of the company’s employees.

“Without our employees, A&W would not be the company it is today,” said Gary Wright, president of A&W and son of founder, Charlie Wright. “Employees of the past set the path for 60 years of success, and employees of the present and future will continue to expand that path and grow A&W Services well into the future.”

A&W is located in Colorado and Wyoming, and provides basin-specific water management expertise throughout the lifecycle of the well. A&W offers the region water hauling and sourcing, manifold pumping and transfer, storage pool rental, pipe trailer rental, flowback tank rental and containment services.
