Subsea Engineering Associates Pty Ltd (SEA) has been awarded the contract for Define Phase engineering services for the Scarborough Development Export Trunkline from Woodside Energy Limited. This will enable SEA to utilise the award-winning ICE Platform, and enable rapid delivery of engineering and a mature digital basis of design to be carried into FEED.

SEA have subcontracted INTECSEA Pty Ltd to provide specialised deep water experience gained on international projects.

The Scarborough field is located 375 km west-north-west of the Burrup Peninsula in Western Australia. The current Woodside proposal for development of the field includes a 430 km large diameter export trunkline routed from a deepwater infield facility, up and over the continental shelf and onto the Woodside operated infrastructure on the Burrup Peninsula.

Afton Galbraith, SEA Managing Director and Nick Brown, INTECSEA Managing Director (ANZ) look forward to supporting Woodside through this important phase of the Scarborough development and in bringing the collective regional and global knowledge of both organisations forward.
