The Planning Inspectorate for England and Wales has upheld the appeal and granted planning consent for the development of the Wressle oilfield in North Lincolnshire licences PEDL180 and PEDL182.
Located in Lincolnshire on the Western margin of the Humber Basin, PEDL180 and PEDL182 contain the substantial Wressle conventional oil discovery with proven reserves and significant upside from contingent resources, from which first commercial oil is expected to flow at a constrained rate of 500 bpd following successful planning approval.
