EZ Ops, a division of Detechtion Technologies and a leading provider of mobile oilfield management solutions, has announced the creation of a Customer Advisory Board (CAB) to further advance mobile solutions and digitalisation in the oilfield.

“We are extremely excited to have such a dynamic group of Board Members adding their experiences, insights, and perspectives to help drive our EZ Ops product roadmap while discussing and addressing current industry challenges related to digitising the core operational functions of the oilfield,” commented Tracy Gray, Strategic Business Director – Mobile Oilfield Products and Executive Sponsor-EZ Ops Customer Advisory Board for Detechtion.

EZ Ops provides a single, mobile platform for core oilfield operational functions such as HSE, maintenance, inspections, task management, ticketing and hauling, production management, tank management, digital logbook, and many more. Customers can choose which modules they want, creating the optimal solution for their needs and staying within budgetary requirements. EZ Ops puts the front-end data entry point in the hands of the field technicians where it’s needed most, making functions in the field easier and eliminating the time needed to write on paper, walk back to a laptop, and then enter that data in five systems, spreadsheets or chat tools. EZ Ops also provides automated data trending and reporting, as well as data validation, saving hours of time trying to make sense of data to make decisions. Saving as little as three minutes per action over the course of a year can produce millions of dollars in efficiency savings.

“With layoffs announced earlier this year, the oilfield is expected to produce more with fewer people, specifically in the field. We are seeing small to mid-size operators now looking for easy, digital solutions. EZ Ops is a perfect first step for them,” stated Patrick Herren, EZ Ops Product Champion.

With over 150 years of combined industry knowledge, the EZ Ops Board will kick-off in July 2025, with each board member serving a one-year term. Board members include Kendell Esau, Tourmaline Oil Corp; Emily Dippold, Highland Field Services; Adam Lonseth, Strathcona Resources Ltd; Justin Koonce, Devon; Miranda Verney, Shell Canada Limited; Tracy Kisell, Parallax; Rurik Tullio, Tourmaline Oil Corp; Dev Rathore, Axip Energy Services; Filip Prcic, ARC Resources; Vittorio Spoldi, Shell Canada Limited; and Steve Gonwick, Pacific Canbriam.

“The EZ Ops Customer Advisory Board is a crucial element of our commitment to customer-centric innovation. We appreciate the time and insights of our CAB members and look forward to building stronger partnerships that drive the future of mobile oilfield management technology to the oil and gas industry,” stated William Standifird, CEO of Detechtion.
