SNS2018 - The Southern North Sea Conference & Exhibition
EEEGR’s flagship Southern North Sea conference is the most important event for the energy sector in the East of England. Taking place over two days at the Norfolk Showground Arena in Norwich, SNS2018 will be the largest conference and exhibition EEEGR has ever delivered attracting upwards of 1100 delegates from across the industry and supply chain.
The conference theme: Innovation, Collaboration and Rejuvenation will translate through the 40+ guest presenters and their presentation and discussion delivery. With speakers covering all major energy facets in the region including major industry players in oil and gas, offshore wind and nuclear sectors, the programme promises to deliver high level information whilst presenting opportunities for the supply chain.
The programme framework derives from EEEGR’s dedicated Special Interest Groups (SIGs). The Chairs of all the groups will provide updates on the group's progress and how they are influencing the industry to enhance the supply chain, These include: Late Life & Decommissioning, Marine, Rejuvenation and Offshore Wind.
The programme promises innovation with Oil & Gas UK’s Efficiency Task Force (ETF). Giving an insight into industry efficiency performance, it will include an overview of key projects and how engagement with these will benefit organisations. This will be illustrated with a case study from Worley Parsons. The programme will also demonstrate collaboration with the Oil & Gas Authority’s Head of Supply Chain, Bill Cattanach OBE detailing the Supply Chain Action Plan (SCAP) initiative and how this is being taken forward into 2018 to assist the industry.
