Trelleborg teams up with Tidal Resources to develop Malaysian market

Trelleborg’s offshore operation has today announced its partnership with oil and gas distributor, Tidal Resources, to provide on-the-ground support and local supply to the Malaysian market.

A crucial element of the growth plans of Trelleborg’s offshore operation in Asia, this affiliation means that customers will have access to local representatives, making enquiries quick and easy. In addition, the company is finalising plans to store its buoyancy products in Singapore to effectively meet lead time requirements in the region.

Feisal Alhady, Executive Director of Tidal Resources in Malaysia, said: “With 20 years experience in the Malaysian offshore oil and gas industry, we are well positioned to support Trelleborg. We specialise in subsea engineering, construction and installation, so we can provide Trelleborg’s offshore operation and its customers a full service offering, locally.”
