NOV’s ReedHycalog Pegasus drill bit technology incorporates multiple novel and patented technologies to match the performance of hybrid and roller cone bits, but with significantly enhanced ROP. The design reduces the blade count required to drill challenging formations compared to single-diameter PDC cutter bits which maximises the ROP in existing fixed cutter applications.
